Ground and Center into the Higher Self for Peace
The Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus
In early January or 2011 Jupiter conjunct1 Uranus in Pisces connecting the expansiveness of Jupiter with the Uranus energy of breakthrough and the invisible resulting in the expansion of the invisible or the expansive breakthrough. The connection of the two planets is very Aquarian in bearing water while starting in the watery realm of Pisces. Water is a medium for the breakthrough of emotion and psyche, as well as, the more tangible watery events such as blizzards, rainstorms, and flooding. 2011 will be a very watery year.
On January 22, the expansive energy of Jupiter moves into Aries where it will be for one year. Uranus follows Jupiter into Aries on March eleven and will be there for at least the next decade. The conjunct aspect and the nature of Jupiter will superpower Uranus energy of breaking through and invisibility. The expansion by its nature will be supercharged, but on the more subtle realms of what is unseen rather than what is seen. The visible world becomes less and less reliable in with these energies asking us to rely more on intuition and the Higher Self.
The conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus is also a very “rEvolutionary” aspect as it asks us to truly connect to our individual knowing of the higher self. rEvolution is written with a small “r” to empower the idea that the revolution IS about Evolution; the evolution of the individual and its uniqueness that as humans we must inhabit as we embrace the higher self. The rEvolution asks us to shift our of typical cultural norms and labels as the power of these two planets asks us to, “Know Thyself” and to honor the inner knowing and to trust the messages and the journey that our Higher Self delivers to us daily. Trusting the Higher Self forces a basis to be a strong presence for ourselves and others.
The rEvolution is fiery in its relation to Aries asking us to step into the crucible to find our unique individuality that contributes to a healthy and positive diversity of humanity. Let the fire burn away the ego and come into alignment with the deeper knowing of who each of us are, allowing others to be who they are, embracing the wealth of acceptance, and stepping into peace together. The crucible offers us the chance to embrace peace, but first we’ll have to look into the dragon’s mouth of war and say in conjunction: no more and require the world to change the way we work out issues.
Luckily Aries quick and decisive action will allow us to rEvolve faster than ever before, as long as we balance with a deep and decisive choice to stay connected to the power of the Earth and to peace.
The Power of 4: Coming Home to Mother
2011 is a number 4 year, made up of two, number of partnership and 11, sacred number of the divine. It is a year to strengthen our partnership with our Higher Self, and create a HOME for the divine in our consciousness, our bodies, and on the earth. It is time to honor our home on all levels with sacred divine energy.
Four is related to the 4th house which owns the home and mother energy. The term ‘home’ correlates to the vehicle within which we move through the world, primarily our body and can also relate to our place of residence or the car we drive. In a larger sense it tri-aspects the relation that humanity has with the Earth as our home, our vehicle through the heavens, and as our Mother drilling back down to require of us a leap into our destiny. The 4th house asks us to find ground within our home and our correct vehicle from both a micro and the macro perspective
The microcosm of 4’s energy asks us to examine our abode and our bodies. Where do we live, is it a healthy town or city, are we cleaning with natural products, do we recycle, or choose clean energy? To our bodies, are we eating organic, fast food, or making healthy choices in physical activity? The physical piece of this aspect of 4 requires us to look at the particulars of our mundane existence, review it with an honest eye, set goals for positive change, and then ground those changes throughout the year into our lives. The microcosm offers us a way to ground the body by conscioussly choosing what feels nourishing and calming to bring us peace. In honoring the uniqueness of each individual this could look like: yoga, a green smoothie, a walk, dancing, or a hug. Know that you will you will gravitate towards your own consciousness; if you feel a call towards a geographic location that is charged with the same consciousness or if you wish to partake of a type of consciousness consider 2011 to be the year you move to the area that supports you.
The macrocosm of 4 requires us to means we move beyond being the child and to take the responsibility of Self that maturation requires of us. It requires us to step up into our Power of who we are, what are destiny is, connected to the earth, moving through fear, and into the expansiveness of Peace and Love which are deeply rooted in freedom. The macrocosm also gives us the fundamental tool required: visualize the process of seeing a cord from the center of your body to the center of the earth’s core. The earth’s core is the basis of our vitality offering us the deepest connection to the Mother and our home, the Earth. The energy of the Earth center us within our Higher Self and grounds and stabilizes the mental, emotional, and physical body regardless of what goes on around us. When you have a solid and deep connection with the Earth you have no fear. The Higher Self will lead us if we’re centered and grounded and it will also lead us through change to peace with grace and ease. If we are not then our past conditioning and old patters will continue to crop up and delay our course to Destiny.
The sign of Cancer correlates to the 4th house of home. Four is connected to health and wel-being like being nurtured in a mother’s arms. Consider that the most prevalent disease that we face is also called ‘cancer’ which affects our bodies our home on Earth and our local and world ecology. A lot of what we take into our bodies is cancer causing and it seems that people either have cancer or their in good health. This knowledge offers us the opportunity to make a difference choice and choose peace within our bodies by mothering ourselves with healthy food and environment. The healthiest act we can take if it’s the only act we can take is to DRINK GREENS. If you buy one thing this year, buy a juicer and include a daily dose of chlorella, spinach, kale, parsley and other greens into your diet. A green drink is the most health conscious remedy to feeling healthy, vital, and alive. The power of the green will also assist in shifting your thinking towards positivity which can only lead towards peace.
The Year of the Rabbit
Rabbit brings as a receptive year that opens up with a loving and trusting vulnerability to ultimately bring peace. Peace for ourselves, for those around us and for the world. Rabbits breed love and acceptance, but the shadow side of rabbit is fear. In this framework for the year, it is acknowledge that the changes we undertake may scare us at time. But knowing that the expansive and breakthrough energies of the planets are about self-acceptance gives us an opportunity to ground out the fear and let us transform it into peace. Rabbit offers us the chance to meet, confront, and move through our fears throughout 2011. Rabbit also teachers us to mother ourselves by grounding within our Mother the Earth to achieve this. The Rabbit comes into power on February 3rd which is the next full day after the first New Moon on February 2 at 6:31 pm. The choice of February as the new year is no accident as the Chinese acknowledging the beginning of the Earth’s awakening as seeds snuggled and grounded deep in the earth started wriggling with anticipation to start sprouting and growing.
It is important to note that February 2010 – January 2011 was still the year of the Tiger. 2010 was a year asking us to change as the child through practices that uproot our beliefs to create a solid foundation. The Tiger gave us the ferocity and the will to break through and break free of old conditions and patterns. The Tiger, an endangered species, asked us to stop endangering ourselves by quitting now irrelevant paradigms of behavior.1 Conjunct: When planets and point form a conjunction their energies become united and therefore act together. The closer planets or point are in conjunction the more they appear in combination rather than acting with distinction.
